First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in and attended the White Gift service. Especially all the actors and actresses, who did an amazing job!!
Elementary classes this Sunday we will be back to our usual rotations, studying John the Baptist. Kindergarten-Grade 2 will be in art, Grade 3-4 will be in Bible skills and games, and Grade 5-6 will be in Science.
Youth class will be studying the Christmas story and traditions.
This Sunday, December 7, we will be holding our White Gift Service at 6pm. The Sunday School students have been working hard on the service and will practice Sunday morning during regular church time.
White gifts may be in the form of a toy or household item that may be needed by a low income family and/or a monetary donation which will be used to help a family in need in the community.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be costumes for all children.
What’s going on this week:
We will continue to practice for our White Gift service. The White Gift service is to be held at 6pm on Sunday December 7. We hope all the Sunday school students will be involved.
The White Gift service is a chance for the Sunday school to help those in need in the community. We collect an offering which is donated to a low income family in the community. We also collect gifts for children of all ages as well as parents. The gifts are taken to the Catholic Family Services Bureau in Charlottetown and distributed to families in need. Some examples of gifts would be toys, books, crayons, children’s clothes, or toiletries for families.
It is that Christmas time of year again ~ We celebrate the birth of Christ!
All classes will begin preparing for our White Gift Service this Sunday morning.
Please come and join in our preparations as there are many things to discuss and do.
The White Gift Service will be held on Sunday December 7 at 6pm.
Here’s what’s happening at CQUC Sunday School this week!
Sunday morning we will be remembering those who gave their lives and their time for our freedom.
We would like the names of all the soldiers you know who risked and continue to risk their lives so that we may have peace and freedom.
Please post or email names.
The Spring Park United Church Youth Group has invited CQUC Youth to join them at the Food Bank this Friday November 7 to help process donations.

Here’s what’s happening at CQUC this week!
Youth Class will be serving a meal at the Upper Room this Sunday morning. Please let Bernie or Jennifer know if you would like a drive from CQUC, otherwise meet at the Upper Room at 9am. All ages 12 and up are welcome!
Elementary Classes will continue to study Jesus and John the Baptist. Grades k-2 will be in Bible Games, grades 3-4 will be in Science, and grades 5-6 will be in Cooking.
Dress up in your best costumes this Sunday because we will be visiting the residence of Rosewood Residence in Hunter River.
We will meet at the church at 10:30 and walk down to Rosewood.
Parents please bring a snack to share with the students as well as the residence. There are some diabetic residence so please keep that in mind if possible when preparing a snack.
